Add as a preferred sourceA community blood drive will come to Rockaway Township on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 2:30 to 7 p.m. at 19 Mount Hope Road in Rockaway, NJ.
The drive is run with Vitalant, the nonprofit blood center, and is open to the public. Organizers encourage Morris County residents to schedule a donation time in advance rather than waiting to walk in.
Blood supplies often run low during the summer while patient demand holds steady, which is why local drives like this one matter. A single donation can help patients who need transfusions for surgeries, treatments, and emergencies.
As an added incentive, Vitalant is thanking anyone who gives blood between June 1 and June 30 with a $25 Rewards gift card. Donors should use code JUNEGIFT-2026-V when scheduling to claim the offer.
Residents can sign up or ask questions by calling 877-258-4825 or emailing the township at bbernstein@rockawaytownship.org. Full details and the online appointment link are posted on the Rockaway Township event page. The drive is open to all eligible donors.
