Add as a preferred sourceRockaway Township residents can pick up a paintbrush and take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake at Paint Your Way To Wellness, a workshop set for Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 19 Mount Hope Road.
Participants will personalize a decorative wooden cutting board, according to the Rockaway Township community calendar. All materials are provided, and no painting experience is necessary. The cost is $25 per person, and the workshop is limited to 35 participants. To register, call the Township at 973-983-2848, the Division of Health line. Payment is accepted by Venmo or cash and should be brought to the Division of Health/Recreation Department.
The address is the Robert A. Galdon Senior Citizen Building, home of the Rockaway Township Senior Center, where Township senior clubs meet and programs such as arts and crafts are held with help from the Division of Health.
With only 35 seats, anyone interested should call soon to hold a spot. The same day, the Township also hosts its free flu clinic from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 65 Mount Hope Road.
