Best of Morris County 2026 Voting Opens, Runs Through November 30

Rockaway residents can now vote in Best of Morris County 2026, a countywide awards program that asks people to name the local businesses they actually love.

The ballot is open at shopmorriscounty.com/best-of-morris-county and runs through November 30, 2026. Winners will be announced in December.

There are twelve categories:

• Best Pizza
• Best Restaurant
• Best Breakfast Spot
• Best Coffee Shop
• Best Bar or Brewery
• Best Dessert Spot
• Best Salon or Barber
• Best Gym or Fitness Studio
• Best Home Services Pro
• Best Local Shop
• Best Realtor
• Best Downtown

More than 250 businesses from across the county are already listed, drawn from Shop Morris County and its local coverage. Voters are not limited to that list. Any business in the county can be written in, and a write-in counts exactly the same as a name already on the ballot, so a Rockaway Borough or Township spot that was missed can still win.

“Morris County is full of places people are genuinely loyal to, and most of them have never won anything,” said Giovanni DiDomenico, founder of Shop Morris County. “This is not a panel of judges and it is not us picking. It is the people who eat there every week telling us who is best.”

Filling out the ballot takes about two minutes. Voting is free, residents can vote in as many or as few categories as they want, and no business can pay to be nominated or to win. One ballot per person.

Local owners are encouraged to send the ballot to their own customers. A shop, salon or restaurant asking its regulars to vote is the most direct way for it to compete.

Shop Morris County covers events, restaurants, shopping and things to do across all 39 municipalities in the county. Voting closes November 30, 2026 at shopmorriscounty.com/best-of-morris-county.
