Rockaway Township has listed a virtual fall prevention webinar from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
The Be Bone Strong: Stepping Out Strong program will focus on balance, strength, flexibility and simple exercises people can practice at home. The session is available online for residents in Rockaway and across Morris County.
The webinar will be led by Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation peer educator Bett Abolafia-Rosenzweig. The foundation says its trained peer educators provide educational information and support, while program content is reviewed by its Scientific and Medical Advisory Council. The session is informational and does not provide personal medical advice.
Advance registration through Zoom is required. The registration page remains open and lists the event for 1 p.m. Eastern Time. People who register but cannot attend live will receive a replay link about 24 hours after the presentation.
