Add as a preferred sourceThe Morris Hills Regional District Adult High School is accepting fall 2026 registrations through Friday, October 2, giving Rockaway-area residents another chance to work toward a high school diploma this semester.
The program is open to New Jersey residents who are at least 16 years old, do not already have a high school diploma and complete an enrollment application. Classes began September 14, but the district’s current registration page lists October 2 as the final day to register.
Adult High School classes meet Monday and Wednesday evenings in two time blocks, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and 8 to 9:30 p.m. Many courses are also available online. Each student’s schedule is based on the credits needed for graduation after a transcript review.
The program is based at 50 Knoll Drive in Rockaway, Morris County. Students may use the district’s online application and can schedule a virtual meeting with the Adult High School supervisor to review transcripts and discuss a graduation plan.
The district lists Rockaway Borough and Rockaway Township among the communities eligible for its in-district tuition rate.
