Rockaway Township is offering a virtual bone health program for residents on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
The program, Beyond the Break, will explain how a fracture after a low-trauma incident can signal weakened bones and a higher risk of future fractures. The session will cover types of medical specialists who can help with bone health and ways patients can work with providers on a care plan.
Niyati Doshi, a trained peer educator with the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation, is listed as the speaker. The foundation says its peer educators provide educational information and support but do not give personal medical advice.
The webinar is virtual and registration remains open through the official Zoom form. The registration page does not list a fee. Registered attendees who cannot join live will receive a replay link by email about 24 hours after the broadcast.
Rockaway Township lists the event for residents in Rockaway, Morris County, New Jersey. The township calendar and active registration page both show the same date and time.
