Germania Park will bring its annual Oktoberfest to Rockaway Township on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026, with two full days of German food, live music, and beer at the club’s picnic grounds.
The celebration takes place at Germania Park, 56 Conger Street in Rockaway Township, home of the German American cultural club that traces its roots to 1895. On Saturday, September 19, gates open at 12:30 p.m. and the kitchen and bar open at 1:00 p.m. Bud and Linda will perform from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., followed by the band Bavarski from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Gates close at 10:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 20, gates open at 12:00 p.m. with the kitchen and bar open the same time. David Betz will play from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., and gates close at 6:00 p.m.
Germania Park has long been a gathering spot for Rockaway Township and Morris County residents who want to enjoy traditional German heritage, hearty food, and live entertainment. The park’s picnic grounds host events throughout the year, including summer biergarten nights.
