The Rockaway Borough Fire Department will hold its annual Family Festival on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with the fun kicking off at 5 p.m. at Fireman’s Field on Beach Street in Rockaway. A rain date is set for Sunday, July 12.
The Family Festival is one of Rockaway Borough’s longest-running summer traditions, drawing thousands of residents and visitors from across Morris County each year. The evening brings the community together for live music, food, and a fireworks show to close out the night.
Food options typically include offerings from the fire department kitchen along with local food trucks, and there is a beer area for guests 21 and older with valid identification. Families can plan on a full evening of entertainment for all ages.
The festival is run by the volunteer members of the Rockaway Borough Fire Department, and all proceeds benefit the department and its service to the community. Turning out for the event is a direct way for residents to support the volunteers who answer the call year round.
Fireman’s Field sits on Beach Street in Rockaway, NJ. Organizers encourage attendees to arrive early for parking and to bring the whole family for the borough’s marquee summer night.
