The Rockaway Borough Police Department will host its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fireman’s Field in Rockaway, NJ. The free family event invites residents to spend the evening with local officers and neighbors.
National Night Out is a nationwide event held the first Tuesday of August, built to strengthen the bond between police and the communities they serve. The Rockaway Borough version fills the night with free food and activities for all ages.
Attendees can grab McDonald’s hamburgers, pizza, popcorn, Rita’s Italian Ice, and treats from an ice cream truck. The lineup also includes a helicopter landing, child ID kits, game tents, and a photo booth.
Warrior Professional Wrestling, presented by East Coast Professional Wrestling, will put on a live show during the evening.
The event is free and open to the public. Families can stop by Fireman’s Field any time between 6 and 9 p.m. on August 4.
