The Rockaway Township Council will hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 65 Mount Hope Road, Rockaway Township, NJ. The meeting is open to the public.
Regular meetings are where the township’s nine-member governing body takes up ordinances, resolutions, budget items, and other business that affects daily life across Rockaway Township. The council is made up of three at-large members and six ward representatives, with Council President Howard Morrison leading the body and Jonathan Sackett serving as Council Vice President.
Residents who want to follow the council’s work can review the meeting agenda, which the township posts before each session, and the minutes, which are released after approval, through the township’s Agendas and Minutes page. The June 23 session follows the council’s June 9 regular meeting and keeps the board on its regular twice-monthly schedule in Morris County.
Anyone with a question or concern for the council is welcome to attend in person. Residents can find the full list of 2026 meeting dates on the Rockaway Township Council page.
