Free live music returns to Rockaway this summer. The Rockaway Gazebo 2026 Summer Concert Series runs every Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Park Lake Gazebo on Mt. Hope Road in Rockaway Township, opening Sunday, July 5, 2026, and running through August 30, weather permitting.

The nine-show season leans into rock and roll. The Rosewood Band opens on July 5 with classic rock and roll. 4 Man Trio follows on July 12 with popular rock and roll, Rave On plays early rock and roll favorites on July 19, and the Kings Road Band closes out July on the 26th with a mix of pop and rock.

August brings five more Sundays of music. 3 Day Weekend starts the month on August 2 with classic and party rock, Reminisce brings its oldies dance band sound on August 9, and Jersey Sound performs old favorites to dance to on August 16. 4 Man Trio returns on August 23, and the Kings Road Band wraps up the season on August 30.

All concerts are free and open to the public. Shows run weather permitting, and the Recreation Hotline at 973-983-2853 is updated only when there is a change, so a quick call before heading out will confirm whether the music is on.

The gazebo concerts join a full summer calendar in Rockaway Township, Morris County. Residents can find more seasonal programs through the Rockaway Township Parks and Recreation page.
