Baseball Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera is coming to the ShopRite of Rockaway on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, to celebrate the New Jersey launch of Mo’s Heat, his officially licensed MLB hot sauce line.
The former New York Yankees closer will meet fans, pose for photos, and sample the sauces from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the store, located at 437 Route 46 in Rockaway. Admission is free and open to the public.
Rivera is a five-time World Series champion and the only player ever elected unanimously to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He built Mo’s Heat in partnership with D’Elidas, one of Panama’s most established hot sauce producers, drawing on a family recipe from his home country. The line features three habanero blends named after his signature pitches: The Cutter, The Curve, and The Sinker. Each bottle sells for $9.99.
The Rockaway appearance follows other New Jersey stops on the Mo’s Heat tour, including a launch event at the ShopRite of Greater Morristown on August 6, 2026.
For Morris County baseball fans, the visit is a rare chance to meet one of the game’s all-time greats without leaving home.
