The Morris County Tourism Bureau has launched the Morris County Farm Trail Passport, a new program that invites Rockaway residents and other visitors to explore farms, markets, orchards, wineries and cideries across Morris County throughout the year.
The free passport connects 13 participating farms, including Alstede Farms, Ort Farms, Riamede Farm, Stony Hill Farms and Wightman Farms. Visitors collect a stamp after visiting each destination. Anyone who gathers stamps from five or more farms earns a Morris County Farm Trail gift, and those who complete the full passport are entered into an annual grand prize drawing for a basket valued at about $1,200 in farm products, merchandise, gift certificates and experiences.
Completed passports submitted by September 15, 2026 receive one additional bonus entry into the drawing.
Passports are available at all participating farms and at the Morris County Tourism Bureau at 6 Court Street in Morristown. A printable version can also be downloaded from the Morris County Tourism Bureau website.
“Agriculture has long been part of Morris County’s identity, and the Farm Trail Passport encourages residents and visitors to experience our local farms and support the families behind them,” said Morris County Commissioner Director Stephen Shaw.
For Rockaway families looking for weekend outings this fall, the passport offers a simple way to tour the county’s farms while supporting local growers.
