Mt. Hope Pond beach badges are available for purchase through Community Pass. Badges cost $25 per person and are available to township residents only. Children 5 and under do not need a badge.
The summer swim season began Memorial Day weekend and runs weekends only until school is out, then 7 days per week through Labor Day. Beach hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Badges purchased online can be picked up at the Recreation Department inside the Township municipal building at 65 Mt. Hope Road. Office hours for badge pickup are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Swimming lesson registration for Mt. Hope Pond opens June 1. Residents with questions can contact the Division of Recreation at 973-983-2841.
